Shelby Western Gown

Mesh with enough weight to fall properly is unusual in evening dresses, and the Shelby uses it to carry a full run of beading. The beadwork is the argument here, and the fabric is what lets it hold without dragging.

It is western in spirit and formal in cut, a combination that usually goes wrong and here does not. There is give in the cloth too, so a long dinner is no trouble.
